Didn't even make it home with new 3160RL

I picked up my new 3160RL from the dealer and towed it home. When I arrived I found the MCD Day/Night Shade that was installed on the large rear wall window laying on the rear sofa. All the screws holding it up had pulled out of underside of the cupboards.

The dealer when they were completing the PDI on the unit had also found another MCD Day/Night shade near the kitchen table would not retract. They ordered a replacement but it took Keystone over a month to send a replacement to the dealer.

I'm not having a good start.

Sorry for your problems although they should be an easy fix as I would call it. Noted that as a Canadian you bought your unit in Arizona. It will be interesting to see how easy it is to deal with any issues now that you are back home in Canada?

Here is to smooth sailing from here.

if nothing else goes wrong, I'd say your start could have been a lot worse. Nothing significant or hard to fix.

Ok now I need some advise. My 3160RL has a few more problems.

First I can't get just one single air conditioner to run. The thermostat has zone 1 and zone 2. Zone 1 is the bedroom and Zone 2 is the living/kitchen area.

I only want to run zone 2 (the living area) but zone 1 continues also continues to run.

I am able to turn off zone 2 (the living area) and only run zone 1 (the bedroom) but the thermostat wil not let me do the opposite and turn off zone 1 and only run zone 2. Both zones continue to run. What am I doing wrong?

Problem is I'm going to a RV park that only has 30 amp power and I can't run both units at the same time.

Second problem is the ceiling fan does not turn on or light up using the two pull chains. Is there a wall switch I can't find?

Thanks for any info.

I can only respond to the ceiling fan in the rear living room question. On my rig there is a on/off light switch that turns on the power to the ceiling fan on the wall leading to the main bedroom (some distance away). Then one chain at the fan turns on/off the lamp, and a second chain cycles the fan speed (slow, medium, fast, off). So I imagine there's a wall switch somewhere that enables its power and it may not be close. Check near your main panel that contains many of the other RV controls like the thermostat, a fantastic fan or the tank status indicators.

X2 on the ceiling fan switch, ours is behind the door for the other switches in hallway. You can't miss it because it is the largest rocker switch in there.

On my air zone 1 is the living room/kitchen and zone 2 is the front bedroom. If you have the manual for your system do a "reset" and then start all over with trying to get each one to turn on. They won't both turn on at the exact same time though.
