Converter blows breaker

Three or four times in the past 3 years the breaker for the converter in our 06 3400RL has tripped. This happens after we have been parked somewhere for a day or so, on at least two times when we were out and electrical consumption was low. Cycle the breaker and all is well till the next time.
The symptom we see is flashing 12volt lamps, all in the same sequence. I have come to know what this means now.
All the connections to the converter are good. I am hoping the electrical gurus here can suggest what else should be examined?

Thx
-Steve

Breakers can go bad after several years of use, you could have one that is getting weak. Very easy to replace. You should be able to buy a replacement at your local RV dealership. Tim

Bad breaker would be my first thought also. The breaker for our main AC started tripping on random occasions for no obvious reason. Replaced it with a new same amp breaker and never tripped again.

Thought these were normal 120vac household breakers. If yours are, home depot would be cheaper than a rv dealer. John

They are. Although I had to order mine on line as that particular one on mine is a double pole breaker, independent poles with one pole 15 amp the other 20 amp. I could find 15/15 or 20/20 but not 20/15.
