Bedroom Window

Linda and I are thinking we would really enjoy having a window in the slide out of the bedroom. We like fresh air when sleeping and with the window above the dresser it would make for a nice cross breeze. Anyone ever done this in a 2007 3400? Don't believe it would be that difficult. Wondering if there is any wiring in that wall at all?

It probably could be done as the newer models have a window on each side of the bed in the slide out making for real cross ventilation. My guess would be that there isn't much for wires there, but don't know for sure. Maybe someone else has more knowledge.

Good luck,

We had a window over the bed in our mountaineer--good cross breeze but COLD (I don't like a cold head) when cold outside and can't lean against the wall (headboard)very well to read in bed. things to consider.

We have a window at the head of the bed- We rarely open the window( one of us doesn't like it open)- I think a window on each side of the slideout would be nice- One more thing for you to consider- Be very careful not to hit any wiring during the drilling and cutting process (don't ask why I caution you about this process) and good luck in your endeaver- Don

Our 3075RL has windows on each side wall of the slide. We often leave one or both open at night for fresh air or to listen to a river or stream rushing nearby.
One potential problem at the head of the bed may be the framing in that wall. May require some cutting and reinforcing of the framing. The side wall may already be framed appropriately for the side windows since some of the models have them.
We have light fixtures over the head of the bed, so there is definitely wiring in ours.
