A exchange in C2C magazine say to keep mice at bay cut up several bars of Irish Spring soap into thirds and place in storage compartments, cupboards and the mice will stay away as they do not like this soap. Hope this will help.

I'm not sure if it will be a deterrent. The mice we had ate our Zest soap. Doesn't seem to be many things that they don't eat!!

Not sure about mice, but it sure keeps the English away! Oh- I made a funny! Brings a tear to me one good eye!
