Popping noise under floor in rear living area
I have 2016 3160RL that makes a popping noise. We can be sitting still or walking around in the rear living area and will hear this popping noise. Has anyone experienced this noise, if so, what is causing it and how do you fix it?

It may just be your level-up jacks settling. There are several threads on the MOC about it. The fix is basically sucking out a quart or two of hydraulic fluid from your reservoir and adding Caterpillar branded oil or Torco fork oil then cycling the system a few times. There is a procedure on Lippert's website.
1. Torco RFF Grade 15
2. Maxima Fork Oil Grade 15
3. Caterpillar Hydraulic Oil Additive 1U-9891
For maximum results in the shortest amount of time, please follow the preparation and procedure exactly as written below. Failure to follow the preparation and procedure may result in delayed resolution of the audible disturbance.
Preparation:
1. Obtain a clean container (large enough to hold a quart of fluid)
2. Obtain a fluid extraction device (siphon, turkey baster, etc.)
3. Fully retract all hydraulic cylinders and jacks.
Process:
1. Using the fluid extraction device, remove one quart of fluid from the power unit reservoir.
2. Add 1/2 quart of the specified fluid.
3. Extend all hydraulic cylinders and jacks fully.
4. Add the remaining amount of the specified fluid.
5. Fully retract all hydraulic cylinders and jacks.
6. Run the Auto-Level feature on the Level-Up system per the instructions found in the Owner's Manual.
NOTE: If the noise persists, the addition of a second quart may be necessary. Follow steps 1 through 6.

Hopefully it's just your Level-Up legs - a friend of ours had a subfloor panel come loose (wasn't glued right or something) in his SOB and there was no way to fix it other than drill a hole over a frame member and squirt Liquid Nails or some such in. Had to drop the bottom cover and push up where it was popping/squeaking with a pipe so the stuff would get in where it was needed. (One of his tanks was in the way so it couldn't be applied from the bottom.) He ended up with a hole in his carpet that he covers with a throw rug.

Assuming you have the leveling system, also take a peak at the hydraulic hose connections on the levelers to make sure a loose connection isn't lubing the leg...admitting air and causing the pops. Some of my early pops would shake the rv. Cat fluid cured most, but also found three loose fittings.

Ours is the rear bedroom. We don't have the leveling system but do have the electric stabilizers. I occasionally hear a pop after that I attribute to the stabilizers settling.
