Lightbulb Replacing carpet in fifth wheel

We r now full-time RVers. We have a 2008 Montana (poor previous owners did bad maintenance we r finding out). Would love to get rid of carpet in dining room slide. HOW?

That's the easy one to replace carpet, remove couch and dining table, the carpet is stapled to the floor over a moisture barrier and padding,remove the carpet, take it to a carpet dealer that does "Binding" they can use your old piece for a temp let . Here they charge 75.00 to bind if you furnish carpet!

What about putting in vinyl as a replacement

Would prefer to get rid of the carpet and install vinyl. Maybereplace th vinyl thru out living/kitchen area. We have 1 dog & 4 cats, like at of shedding even with daily brushing

On our old rig we replaced the main floor with commercial vinyl tiles, but left carpet in the slides because the edge of the carpet covers the opening where the slide comes in and out.

Did u try replacing the carpet? Don't know why they put light colored carpet in these things! ��
