Electrical issues

Hi. I have a 2005 Keystone Montana 3400RL Fifth Wheel. I disconnected the camper for long period. After I reconnected it most of my appliances aren’t working or getting power like the ac unit, thermostats, water heater, microwave, fridge, plus my roof lights are also not working. However, all of my wall plugs are working. All fuses are good.

Are you plugged into 50 amp service? 30 amp? 15/20 amp?

My first guess is that you may have lost one leg of the 50 amp.
Your lights should be 12 volt so check your battery and see if they are dead.
I would start by tracing the 50 amp incoming from the pole to the cord, to the converter, etc. Even if the battery is dead, the converter should provide 12 volt power for the lights if it has AC power and is working.

I agree with Robert. Common symptom of loss of one hot leg. If you have a voltmeter check to see that you have 120 vac on both pins of your 50 amp shore power connector. If yes, then check to see if both sides of the 50 amp circuit breaker at your trailer circuit breaker panel has 120 vac power. That will determine where to go next.

The problem you are describing does not sound like a 120 volt problem. All the items you described also need 12 volts. The 12 volts is the controlling voltage. I would start by looking at the 12 volt battery/converter system.

Could it be the batteries are bad or dead? Or the battery switch is off?

He says his water heater and microwave isn’t working. They are 120 if the 120 electric side of the water heater isn’t working. If it’s the gas part isn’t working it’s 12 volt. If that is the case go back and check the microwave if it’s working all the rest is 12 volt.

Sorry Lynwood, but the Electric Hot Water switch inside just controls a 12V relay mounted on the Heater, so if no 12V no 120 ever get to the water heater.
But yes the Microwave only uses 120 VAC

Note that the OP has a 2005 year model. Not likely it has a relay. My 2007 did not. And not even an inside switch. Had to turn it on electric with the infamous little black switch outside.
