No 3400 RLs???

Just looked at the Montana web site and noticed that the 3400 is now "Stock Only"??? I can't believe the 3400 is not in production anymore? It was one of the most popular floorplans.

I'm probably wrong, but I think that means they are only available as is, no Big Sky.

It means that the only ones left are those on the dealers lots. It has been discontinued.

I think Dave is correct, it also means they are being discontinued. Replaced by 3402 and others.

The 3150RL was on that "stock only" list also. But they removed it from there and now it is available. I guess the next few months things will sort out.
All you folks in the know is there any Big Sky news you can share?

Yes but I really like this floorplan. If I were to order one tomorrow, it would have been a 3400.

There are some other models though that could be enticing...

Ahhhhhh, memories!! Our first Montana was the same model and it was definitely a good layout and a great rig! We are kind of partial to the new one, though!

That means both of ours have been discontinued. We had a 3400 first. Every other Montana coming down the line was a 3400 then. Now, we have a 365 Big Sky (3665 in normal Montana). Plenty of new floor plans to keep refreshing.

The 3402RL is close to it in layout except the 3402RL has the extra sink/vanity in the bathroom and bedroom and bigger(longer) shower and a big closet next to the King bed, that is why we and a lot of other folks bought it over the 3400rl but we did like the 3400 it is a nice layout a lot of folks will miss it

I would have SOB if the 3400 wasn't available when we bought. The desk is the most important feature for me and the main reason I'm in a Montana. Too small on the 3402. Working from the rig for 10hrs a day two weeks out of the month makes every inch of desk much more important than a few more inches in the shower which I'm only in for 10 minutes on the dirtiest of days. Glad I bought when I did. Can't make everybody happy I guess.

Heck, I don't mean to throw a wrench into the gears here but, the whole Challenger line was discontinued.

the 3402 is the near identical floor plan. I could not understand why they continued to make the 34000 after the 3402 came out. We got the 3402 because it was the same floor plan with the addition of the second sink, which is worthless, and the vanity which is a great addition.

Let's see we first had a 2955, now discontinued, then a 3400, now discontinued, and currently a 3455 that is discontinued as well. It just never ends but like a lot of people we are always looking forward to the introduction of new models, change is good I guess!!! We are members of the discontinued club as well.

Davidaf you mentioned the smaller desk in the 3402rl, I noticed they did that in 2013 to make room for a bigger TV I have a 2012 and it is nice having those files drawers and bigger desk when you are fulltiming ,I do not need a bigger TV it pulls out and is right in you face I guess they needed to make MR MAGOOO happy

Send a message via MSN to Ramblin Roadrunners
I talked to Mark Krol with Keystone this morning and he told me they are tweaking the Montana and Big Sky line in January. He wouldn't go into details yet because not all of the dealers have been informed. He hinted of changes and upgrades as well as pric increase to cover upgrades. He is going to shoot me a email about the changes when all dealers are notified. I will pass it forward.
