3402 closet doors

How do you get your closet doors to stay shut? I latch the doors which are each two pieces and while traveling the two side pieces come loose and slide all over?

The latches are adjustable. Loosen screws slightly and move latches so as the male end is directly in center of female side. Just a small amount of misalignment is enough to cause poor latching.

Here is how we keep the doors on their slides while traveling assuming they are properly installed. First we fully open the doors then use a short Bungee Cord hooked on the clothes rod next to the wall on each side and with a sock to protect the door finish hook the other ends on the center doors. We go down the road with the doors open and that middle door that is only connected (hanging) at the top stays in place as it is now sandwiched between the other two panels. Our doors were not properly installed from the factory, and while doing the walk through one middle door fell off and cracked. The Tampa Lazydays employee knew how to correctly attach that middle panel, but that one door did crack at the top when it fell off. We are scheduled to have it replaced while in Tucson in May at Lazydays.

hi recumbent. I have talked to Montana about the closet doors on the oct 2012 built new designs. the design if flawed. get new doors under the warranty and complain too Montana.

as for what recumbent is doing is great but Montana isn't instructing dealers or customers on how to deal with them.

I figure next year they will get rid of the damn 4 piece doors. this is our 2nd time they have to replace desotryed doors.
