A Great Run!!

It has been. You folks have made it very enjoyable and I continue to recommend the MOC to many Montana owners. This week we sold our 3400 and Chevy Truck to some very nice folks from Vancouver, BC. They will be picking up the unit in late December. I posted this elsewhere but am doing it here also as I know not everyone reads the "For Sale" thread.

We have thoroughly enjoyed living in our unit since leaving Alaska in May of '07. We have visited 46 of the 50 states and can say we really got a good look at America and loved what we saw. We now live in an RV Resort, (This one is an actual Resort, Not as many of us encounter on the road), in Casa Grande, AZ, near our first grandbaby.

We are already considering renting a motorhome and travelling out of the heat next summer. Washington State and Colorado are on our list. If not we may spend the summer in Prescot or Showlow, or both.

I want to THANK everyone for their advice, insight, light hearted banter, and most of all help, as this was our first experience with RV'ing.

We have met many friends along the way and hope to see some of you on the road in the future.

IFIN you're ever in Casa Grande or near here please look us up and let's sit and chat or do lunch.

Phil & Cathy

PS: Now we have to buy a new car, which we haven't done in over 20 years. We have had a truck and van all this time. Oh what to buy!!!

Good luck Phil & Cathy on your new home. Never met you folks but feel like I have because of the MOC. What a great site and I want to thank Phil for the help that he has given me in the past. Stay in touch Phil, and when we get out that way we will look you up for sure.

We have been to your Resort in Casa Grande and it is a Resort. Lived in Casa Grande in 1965, what a change from those days.
We wish you the very best.

Good luck, you are good people, I remember when you first started posting and have had you on my list of people I want to meet. I hope to do just that, now we are headed to the Phoenix area. (Too cold in Vegas, about 6 degrees warmer in your general area.)

We've enjoyed your posts and contributions here and are glad that things are working out for you. It's funny how we can relate so well to people we've never met. Hopefully someday....
Best of luck!

Good luck on your new adventure and never know as we sold the house in WI and now just the building in GB and the house in FL and the 5th wheel that was new when we met you at keystone, remember when Darrel came in to see me at 7;00 AM to tell me the good news and the bad...sailer

exav8tr, when we first started looking at 5th wheels after doing siginficant research we found the MOC and you were here posting away. Your posts have been helpful and a realistic look at the daily issues that will arise for most rv-ers. Thanks for "A Great Run" and may the best of life come your way.

We are very happy that you have had a great time since 07. We stayed in Casa Grande for a few months in 2010 great winter place. You might look into the Kia we bought a new one in 2004 a Spectra and had it 3 yrs and not a problem with anything. So we just bought the 2011 Forte Koup a little small its their version of a sports car. Its is a Zoom Zoom and gets great mpg. Of cousre we only have 780 miles on it, but will be driving from Lynwwod Wa to Portland tomarrow to get the rigistration and plates, since we are still Oregonians. I really like thier Warrenty. Its good in all USA and Canada. So only time will tell weather this one is as good as the 2004 was. I have recommended the Kia to several people and my parents have bought two since we recommended them in 2004, they had the Kia Sedona van and now the Kia Soul sort of an suv. They loved thier van but now really like the Soul. Good luck on what ever you buy.

Phil and Cathy -
Congratulations on the next phase of your life. Those grandkids keep you hopping. I think of you every time I put up our satellite dish. Thanks for the recommendation. Best of luck and do stay part of the forum.

Phil - You were one of the first and most helpful responders when we first started looking at getting our Montana......what a blessing to us! Your advice has been timely and effective. And what many others have said, but it's worth repeating, you folks are very much appreciated! D

You guys make me want to buy it back and keep RVing! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND WORDS. Randye, I will look into the KIA's in the next month. I am glad I was able to offer assistance and advice and hope I never offended anyone with my posts. Sometimes we get a little passionate about certain subjects but we all want to get our point across at times.

HAPPY TRAILS TO ALL!!!!!

Phil and Cathy, Good luck on your new adventure. Virgil and I enjoyed meeting you when you were traveling through our area, I believe it was at the beginning of your full timing lifestyle. We purchased a Ford Escape a few months ago and have been very pleased with it so far. Comfortable, good gas mileage, cargo space.
