P-3 Short to battery warning

I have been getting a short to battery warning intermittently for a few months now.
Brakes still work on Monty.
I get this warning mostly when the Monty is NOT connected.
I am not sure what the "short to battery" really means.
Anyone experienced this?

I'm getting the warning when it's wet/raining. No problems when it's dry. Happens with the truck unhooked. Took apart and cleaned the pigtail socket in the back, but still getting it. Getting to be a pain though.

When I had that happen, I had a short on the brake wires where they go into thto axle to pass to the other side. Wires wore thru the insulation and shorted out to the axle. The other 3brakes were still working but one was shorted so it seemed like they were all working.

Like Greg mentioned, I get the warning even when not connected to trailer. It may be rain water getting into bak of plug, I will have to pay closer attention. Thanks

I also get this error when disconnected and raining, I read somewhere that it's the wiring harness under the bed. Brake still works fine when hooked up so not that concerned.
