We hate to get up early..We are usually out of the campground by 9:30 or so and that is to early.

As I recall from reading the Turbo Diesel Register magazine (I highly recommend this club/magazine/online forum if you own a Cummins), the 11's have much more engine insulation, like on the oil pan, etc that make a lot of noise, plus an extra set of gaskets on the vehicle doors in terms of visible upgrades to make them very quiet.

My new 11 Ram Cummins is quiter than my 10 Powerstroke was at idle (still not as quiet as the 11 Duramax is). I've found that I can run through a drive up window with the new Ram - could not do it in the Ford without shutting down the motor. At highway speeds the interior is so quite that the only thing you really hear is the purr of the Cummins.
