Power surge protection on Montana (2003 3295RK)

Does anyone know if the Montana 5th wheel, specifically the 2003 3295RK came with any kind of surge protection from the factory?

We were in an older campground in Indiana and plugged into the pedestal, flipped the breaker switch, and my wife heard the big TV
in the living room go "pop". Everything else seems to be OK but the TV is dead.

Maybe I'm dreaming, but it would seem the manufacturer of a $50-$60K+ unit might want to include surge protection as standard equipment.

I am sure there is no power surge installed from the factory, it is an after market item. Even my SOB motor home did not have one, I purchased a portable one so I can keep it if I decide to change RV's.

After market for all years as far as I know. One of these is what I'm looking at. EMS-PT50C, HW50C.
