Maps

Can anyone tell me if the filled in maps you are showing are just your Montana traveling or all the places you have driven to including your SOB`s

There are no rules for this map. You do it however you want. Some fill in if they enter a state. Some have to stay overnight in a state. Some have to make love in a state. Your choice.

For us, we have to stay overnight and start all over when we get a new RV. That means that we wouldn't be able to fill the last three states on our map since we get our Big Sky in five days so I am changing our rules to include all Montana's that we stay overnight in. In all honesty though, we did not stay overnight in the Northwest Territories or Artic Circle but we did go there while on a trip in our Tana. We just left the Tana in the RV Park to save the axels while we traveled to these remote areas.

We have traveled in all US States except Hawaii in an RV as well as all Canadian Provinces but have never had the maps filled in completely because of changing RV's.

Everyone has their own reason for filling in the map. For us, we have to sleep in the state before we can fill it in. For example, we have been through North Dakota at least a dozen times but have never slept there, therefore we haven't filled in the map for ND.

We just ordered our new Big Sky. We are going to follow the "wherever we camped in a Montana" rule. That way we don't start over with our new unit.

Although I don't have ours in our signature, we use a bit different "rule". We use this for the stickers on the map on the Monty as well. If Monty has been there, he gets credit for it. The only state we didn't actually "sleep" in was Washington. We were visiting family in Spokane but camped across the border in Idaho. We spent a week there.
Happy trails...................

We filled ours in according to where we have towed the camper on vacations, etc… whether it was a previous other brand or the Monty. If we went through the state we colored it in. We have however stayed in most of them in our signature.

Bill-n-Donna -
How do you get the map to "color" in while it's in your signature. Any sequence or is it just random?
