Gas prices in your area?
I filled all my fuel containers for my home equipment yesterday, the price for regular was $3.59. The day before it was $3.49 here.
I think Deisel was $3.98
I bought around $200.00 worth,I also added Fuel stabilizer to the containers.
What are the prices across the nation now?

Started our journey to New Glarus Saturday. Here in WI price of diesel is stable at $4.10 while on Friday gas went from $3.71 to $3.80. Hate to think what it might be when we head back to the stick house on the 23rd.

We traveled from Henderson, TX to Waco, down to Johnson City, then back to Rockport. Prices ranged from $3.92 to $4.39 for diesel in various places. The run down Hwy 281 south saw the highest prices. I noticed the Exxon here in Rockport was still the same as when we left; $4.19. I haven't checked the other stations yet. I didn't pay over $4 per gallon as I was carrying 3 five gallon containers of diesel.

Now I don't feel so bad. Here in New Mexico diesel was $4.28 in Santa Fe on Friday, but we got it on our way home at an Indian Casino, about 12 miles out of Santa Fe, for $3.85. In Albuquerque last week we found it for $3.99 but most stations were $4.36.

Hi Ozz Ours jumped 14 cents yesterday. A few days ago I filled the car for 3.55 and now 3.69. Ours is higher around here to help pay for the stations that had gotten flooded. There was one station that it took the tanks out of the ground. Big hole it the ground and the tanks blocks away.

Gas jumped to 3.999 per gallon last night .There is no shortage, no lines, all is normal. It went up because we were told it would go up.IMO any shortage was caused by panic buying thereby causing a shortage.. Diesel fuel remained the same...did not go up at all 3.989 to 4.0894. people shoul be going to jail.

Diesel at Flying J in Thousand Palms, CA is 4.07. Incidentally, Flying J has once again started giving the .01 cent/gal rebate when you use the Flying J rewards card.

Diesel at the flying J (Omaha) on Thursday was 3.90--who knows what it is today. Gas was 3.34 at the station by us several days ago and is 3.59 today

Here in Canon City, CO we have been somewhat stable for the past two weeks. Today diesel is $4.11 at U-Pump It. Last week it was $4.15 for diesel. Any bets if it will rise again?

Diesel fuel on Friday was $4.06 on Sat it was $4.17 haven't been out today but I would say it will go up. Ike was just another excuse for them to raise prices. But until we Drill, Drill, Drill it will stay like a roller coaster. But the President did have to EPA lower some of the imposed standards so we could get more gas and Diesel into and out of the refineres. But as we all know the President has very little if any control over the prices. GBY....

Sorry I did not see the "D" price when we were out today, but in Adrian, which has the CHEAPEST fuel prices in our county, the price for regular gas was $4.19.
ON EDIT: that is up from $3.69 about 10 days ago in the same town.

On this special trading day oil ended down 1.92 at under 100.00 dollars a bbl. Monday should be interesting. Our speculators and financial analyst keep telling us that oil is going up and OPEC is telling us that there is plenty of oil and it will go down to 60/80 $ s bbl and it is......what is wrong with that pictures.

It's not all bad news....these are taken from Houston Chronicle website blog.....
"Shell's Pasenda gasoline terminal now open-
Shell Oil Co. says now that its Pasadena gasoline terminal is now open. The company is still running a safety review at its Beaumont terminal, which also is expected to open this afternoon."
"ConocoPhillips reports-
ConocoPhillips says its Sweeny refinery has power, but remains shut down as crews assess the extent of Ike-related damage.
Its Lake Charles, La. refinery is running at reduced rates as it continues its post-Gustav restart process. Power has been restored to ConocoPhillips' Alliance refinery in Belle Chasse, La. after it shut down for Gustav, and the plant is preparing to restart.
The company says gas stations along evacuation routes in Southeast Texas have priority for restocking, and supply is ready.
However, distribution terminals in Pasadena and near Lake Charles remain closed pending power restoration. The company's corporate offices in West Houston have power, and will be staffed with critical personnel on Monday."
