Thank you for sharing that with us. Every time I see it, I water up.
Inter-service rivalry has always been a topic that can get heated when the different services get together, but I can assure you one thing. If any veteran is in trouble and needs assistance, every other veteran, and it doesn't matter what service he was in, will help in whatever way they possibly can. When the help is not needed anymore, we go back to the inter-service rivalry.
So to those of you who have served, thank you.
And to those of you who have supported those that have served, thank you.
And to the rest, there are no words to describe how I feel about you.

If that doesn't get to you, veteran or non-veteran, I would question whether or not you have any feelings. For a guy who's been retired from the USAF for over 36 years, it got to me.
