Tireco replaced my Mission tires
Tireco replaced all five of my Mission tires, free of charge. I do have to pay for mounting, but that seemed fair enough. They replaced them with Freestar tires. Has anyone had any experience with Freestar or know anything about them? Of course, they are made in China and hopefully they are better that the Missions. I will give Tireco customer service credit; they were very courteous and prompt in the delivery of the new tires.

Dave,
Were you having problems with all of them? I just checked my rig yesterday and I have a flat. Rig is only a few months old, just 3 trips!
Thanks
Ken

Ken and Marilyn, I had tread seperation on one, but expressed my concern for others in light of problems other Montana owners had with their Missions. They agreed to replace them all.

If you still have the OEM rubber valve stems they may be leaking. Wiggle them around and listen for air escaping.

There is nothing in my book that says how long the warranty is on this tire, I won't be on the road till next summer they will be 2yrs old must stay here till then, I have only towed about 1000 mi and don't see any bad spots. Can we get the tires replaced or must we risk it till they pop then wait for replacments? sure will mess up a trip..

It is not difficult to get the tires replaced by Tireco and they don't even want the old ones............. I'll leave it to your own imagination. Of course, we now have 10 @#@# China tires.

We just got all 5 replaced with the Freestars as well. I had one go flat (steel belt broke) and another had a large bulge; all with about 4K miles on them. The Tireco folks had the new tires delivered to the RV park in 3 days. They did want the old ones back and I'm waiting for the UPS truck to come and pick them up.....all paid for by Tireco. I also ordered the Pressure Pro system to watch those rascals this time!

Add us to the Kaboom club! Running from Ike, we had a blowout on the drivers side front tire. Fortunately, not a lot of damage as the gatorback immediately flew off. I screwed around too long in replacing those Chinese bombs. I'm heading into Henderson, TX this morning for 5 new tires. If they reimburse me anything fine, if not, it'll be another mark against Keystone. And before anyone says it is not their fault, let me remind you. They chose the Missions, and they replaced the bad tires before, but just have not been mandated by the government to do so on the Missions. I don't think it will do any good, but I will also file a complaint with the NHTSA.

How long do you have to return the tires? I have the new tires but haven't got them switched just yet. Will they send me a bill after a couple months?

I just called Tireco back after I got the tires swapped and they set up the UPS pickup. Don't know what will happen if you wait to switch them out....

I gave up on UPS stopping by to pick them up and dropped them off at UPS.
