Where did summer go?

What a surprise yesterday morning when I crawled out of bed. We had a full raging blizzard going on. We ended up with about a foot of snow. It's hard to tell though, most seems to be in my yard. lol. From near 90 a few days ago to 6 degrees this morning. BRRRRRRRR. I am glad I had Monty winterized. This should mostly melt but it makes me wonder where summer went and even more so,, what the heck am I doing here?
Enjoy the warmth where you're at. I was going to attach a picture of poor Monty braving the elements but I couldn't figure out how to send it. My daughter in Tucson is glad she is there.

That would be VERY hard to take, a drop of over 80 degrees and then the insult of snow as well. UGH

We are having a heat wave for Michigan and October, wore shorts the last two days, yesterday, well into the 80's, today, about 75 to 80. Tomorrow AM, they are saying 20 to 30 degree drop. Bring on the thermies!

Seasons come and seasons go. SIGH

I hear ya Virgil. Guess it's getting to be that time of year. Nearly 80 here yesterday and it's 46 right now. Made for a brisk walk with the dog this morning. I still haven't ditched the shorts yet though. LOL

I saw on the Weather Channel where people in your area were getting snow! Seems rather early in the season; hope it isn’t a harbinger of things to come for you!

Only season in Florida is hurricane and that's about to go.

blizzard, snow, 6 degrees, BRRRRRRRR, winterized, thermies. These words are no longer in my vocabulary.
