SPRING SHAKLES

I have a 3255rl 2003 purchased in 2004. Under warranty the axels and brakes and tires and bearings were replaced.
upon removing the old axels the spring shakles were found to be extremly worn with one almost worn through. Both the axel co. and montana say this is not covered that it is a matinence item. This trailer only has around 9000 miles on it.If this is the case i would recomend every check there's

There are a series of posts re this issue. There is a shackle replacement kit avalable through Dexter for a reasonable cost. Do a search in the Forum under "shackles" and you will find a wealth of info on the subject.
