Reporting In
We have spent the last eight weeks living full-time in the Monty at a local camp. A badly herniated disc has required Bill to be on short term disabillity. Physical therapy (1 1/2 hr each) 3X a week, exercises 5X a day and several hours of walking each day have finally returned him to work part time. No time allowed on computer though Pat checked into the site occasionally. The Monty performed admirably in the therapy process and served well to get Bill away from the computer and desk job which contributed to his problem. A fine taste of how full-timing should go--hopefully without the pain in the back! Now counting the months til retirement

Good to hear from you and happy Bill is doing well. It is important to counter the computer sitting time with some moving and exercise.

Bowie,
I hope you continue to improve. I know the pain of back pain. I have arthritis in my back so I feel for you. A prayer for your continued good health.

I'm sorry to hear about the health problems but it sounds like that's mending well. I saw your userid awhile back and wondered whatever happened to you folks. I'm glad you were able to "report in" again. By the way, a laptop on the lap and a good recliner does wonders for computering without causing back problems! Like I'm doing right now.

Bill, been there done that and I sincerely feel for you. Mine was many many years ago and it took some serious surgery to correct the problem. Hopefully physical therapy is all that will be necessary. You will be in our thoughts for a full recovery in time for that fulltiming adventure.

Hi Bill and Pat,
Sorry to hear about your back issues. Any medical problem is no fun. I hope that the PT can be useful when on the job and no further problems. I'm glad you had the monty to get away from the rat race. Wishing both of you good health and some great adventures.
