OK, I recently bought a 2008 Montana but I am not camping in it I am living in it full time (Like a Tiny House). Unfortunately it did not come with the Owners Manual But I have found them on line.

I will admit that I have only skimmed through the manual and I have looked up a couple of minor issues. What I am needing/wanting is some system schematics. The dealer I bought it from is over a hundred miles from my place and the nearest dealer is over 60. If I had the schematics I could trouble shoot any problems (I have a few) and try too fix them.

Not sure they exist. Few years ago, I queried Keystone on a wiring issue, and they did respond, but faxed me a hand drawn schematic that was not accurate.

Welcome to the forum! 18-20 or more Montana's roll off the line everyday. That's 18-20 or more built from the bare frame to completion. Each section is done so rapidly that I don't think Keystone can count on wiring or plumbing being exactly the same from rig to rig and that's why they won't share schematics. Many of us do live full time in our rigs and , as stated above, have been there and done that. No matter how simple the solution, no question is too simple and no one flames anyone on this forum so feel free to ask away.

Welcome ... I have only had my (16 year old) Montana for a short time. I have a problem that schematics would have really helped so I call Keystone and was told no such thing as schematics. Yes ... I was shocked. The people on this blog are really helpful.

Well darn the bad luck. Here is the problem. As I stated I am living in the RV as a MiniHouse. So I am hooked up to the well via hose and city water port. The pressure from the the faucets is Dismal and from the shower hose, well it ain't there. I called the Dealer Se3rvice Department and he started rattling on about check valves and such and asked did the water input go directly into the Freshwater holding tank? I tried to follow the line but it just goes into a spaghetti bundle of hoses , Tees and what every. Short of pulling the belly pan is there any fix?

If we assume your well has a pressure tank on it and it is delivering somewhere near 50psi, then you should have good flow in the trailer. There is a check valve built into the city water connection that may be hung up to one side and blocking flow. With the hose off, you should be able to see any check valve when you look straight into the female fitting on the trailer. John

If you have low water pressure try filling the fresh water tank
and using the pump for when water is needed.
It may improve the pressure enough for showering etc..

When we bought our 2007 new it had a weird wiring problem, corrected under warranty by the dealer. Took them a while to find the problem as they had no wiring diagram. I asked the dealer if he would get me a wiring diagram of the trailer from the manufacturer and he said he would. He called a couple days later and said even he could not get a wiring diagram from Keystone. Either they did not have them, or they did not give them out, not real clear from their answer to him.

There are also water restrictors on the faucets and shower head. Try removing one first to see if it improves your water flow. If it does, remove the others.

If you are using a pressure regulator on your hose that may be the problem. I had poor water pressure until i removed pressure Regulator. On another occasion the check valve behind the convenience center panel had frozen even though I had antifreeze in the system. It pushed the check valve ball too far and jammed it there. I poped it back into place and all is fine.

yeah better off asking questions here. When I had an issue with my backup camera, that was proof about the "things being different from rig to rig" I don't think they have consistency on the way they do each rig. Your RV is not to much different on the plumbing/electrical side from your home, as far as the basics. Get a good multimeter to help troubleshoot electrical issues. 12v is easy, positive and negative. 120 AC is a little more involved, but if you have basic knowledge of electricity and how it works in your house, you can have good success troubleshooting some issues. and some basic plumbing tools to fix minor issues.
As for your issue, fill the water tank, and run with the pump on. if that makes a big improvement, its a safe bet that your fixtures and most plumbing is OK, and that the problem lies in a check valve, pressure regulator, or just not enough incoming pressure from your source.

One last thing, there are several RV maintenance and repair guides out there, I have 2 myself that I carry with me, that can help you troubleshoot and repair many things in your camper. I have one published by Bob Livingston (the industry expert) that is very detailed. Of course its in my camper, and I am at work at the moment, and cant remember the name. Good manuals to have though.
