Heated Water Lines
Does anyone have any suggestions about a heated waterline other than pulling a bit further South? It got to 22 last night in Roper Lake State Park, Safford AZ. Not even close to Mn daytime temps but still below freezing. Love it here. Thanks in advance.

I have always used heat tape you get at the hardware store and them put insulated pipe foam over it and it has never failed me in 4 years of cold weather fulltiming just make sure you cover EVERY INCH of your hose and the spigot as well,OR you can buy a PERIT heated hose some folks have good luck with them as well, they are about 100 bucks for 25ft or 150 bucks for 50ft,HEAT Tape is ALOT cheaper Your call, as a matter of fact where I am now it will be in the 20's and I have the heated hose plugged in right now

I have used the 25' PERIT Heater water hose for several years now and I love it! Last year had a couple of days near or below zero and everything worked fine. Highly recommend it!

I full timed for four years in a TT and used a shortened garden hose with a 15' length of heat tape and foam pipe insulation noodles. Worked perfectly through two bad winters. The original heat tape failed after three years, but a new one was no where near as expensive as replacing one of those hoses with the built in tape.
