It's "A Puzzlement"

After using our Splendide 2000S washer/dryer for 3 months we returned home and went back to using our "home" units only to find that they won't get clothes anywhere nearly as clean as the Splendide does.

Other than buying 2 more Splendides for home use, does anyone have any recommendations of units that can equal the cleaning capability and features of the Splendide?

We love our Maytag Neptune. Works great and holds a ton of clothes. Many other companies have recently started marketing front loaders and they have been selling well.

Thanks, John!

We'd seen the current crop of Kenmore front-loaders and had noticed that they, finally, have the bi-directional action that we'd first encountered in the Splendide. [Our home unit is a top-loader.]

We'll take a close look at the Neptune.

I sure love my Kenmore Elite Calypso. It's a top loader so you don't get the mold issues with a front loader (like Neptune has/had). It is a very large capacity since there isn't really an agitator and it uses very little water. I just love it, but they are pricey. We've had it for about 3 years now with no problems (knock on wood).

Like I said, it's awesome and gets grass stains out of my kids clothes, whites very white and I love it. I can wash 1 thing or many, the load size is automatically selected by the washer.
