Check out this stackable generator
Champion
http://tinyurl.com/5rghmb6
They have inverter models, parallel kits and are stackable, and low D.B. ratings. I will stick to the tried and true Hondas, but here is the info on them.

OZZ,
Well it looks like someone has finally produced a product that can truly give Honda and Yamaha a run for their money. I like the "stackable" idea too. Don't know if I'd ever run them that way but it is a nice idea. The DB rating is truly competitive with the Honda and Yamaha units. Wonder where they are made? Later, Dennis

I would make a guess on the country, I think they have made construction generators for some time, they probably had some RV'ers in the engineering department, seems like a good fit for us.
Found this:
Champion Generators are made by Champion Power Equipment. The company is headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California, and owns a manufacturing plant in the Zhejiang Province of China. Along with generators, Champion also makes pressure wa...

OZZ, I think you nailed the country of manufacture. Tractor Supply sells the Champion line. I looked at them before I bought the Generac.
Lots of folks are building those small generators now. Generac and Honeywell to name a couple. I've owned a couple Generac brand generators; well pleased with them.

I'll say it again...the BS factor for the Boliy is way too high to trust what they say without some independent tests.

It does look too good to be true, but I have no idea.

That Boliy sure SOUNDS impressive. I wonder if you have to send it to Germany for repairs? I am finding, that in this "Information Age" we are going thru, many manufacturers get away with saying anything they want, whether totally truthful or not. I would hate to be the one to "buy and try" just to prove a point.
Sometimes when things sound to good to be true, they usually are. Call me a doubting Thomas or whatever, but the proof is in the pudding, as the saying goes.
Hopefully I am wrong and this will be the best thing since sliced bread.

I think what their test show can be made to say what they want them to say. Just to improve SALES. Just like having a patent. It is no good anymore when you take it to China, Japan,or any other country. There are no rights in that respect Even being stackable may not be quit right, although they did stack them to ship them, but they were not running at that time.... ....JB

I saw the champions at SAM's Club for under $500 the other day. Should be next very occasionally us if not too loud.
