Does it come with a GPS to find your way around that bed? The space in the bedroom and closet are really nice.

The bedroom is large, we did go with the optional king size bed. The interesting thing that we noted but have not remedied yet (more mods needed) is there are no shelves, no nightstand, nothing at all to even set an alarm clock on?????

Yes, Bingo, I noticed that. Is it because of the king bed? When we were looking at fivers for the first time, the shelves on both sides of the bed became a selling point. At the fall rally, we checked out the Montana High Country. NO SHELVES.

Just stumbled upon this from Trailer Life.

Alarm clock? What's that?

I thought that RV'ers were on vacation!

Actually, I have a clock next to my bed that projects on the ceiling when I push the button. I only have it to see if it is close to 3:00 a.m. so I can get up and go to the bathroom.

Edited:
p.s., Nice touch thinking about the pets and getting the King Bed.

That’s a good one Wayne!

I agree with you Wayne regarding the alarm clock when on RVing vacations, but for those of us (me!) who are not yet retired (me!), there are times such as this week when we (me!) are camping with the family, and that blasted thing called work still manages to dictate the daily schedule. I am old enough and tired enough that I still need the alarm clock for that 6:00 a.m. wake up call!!
Bullroc3,
I don't think the king bed has anything to do with the lack of the shelves on the side of the bed because our 3400 had the king bed in the slide and it had the shelves. I think I am going to fabricate some triangular shelves for each side of the bed at the head of it to add some shelf room. The missing bedstand or dresser top is understandable since the two slides close the bedroom completely off when they are retracted. I guess with every gain there is something that must be given up, therefore that leaves us thinkin' and moddin' to do!!!
