One more thing that I plan on doing is get a piece of indoor/outdoor carpeting and cutting it to size where it will lay on top of the metal frame and hang down the back of the frame as well (that seems to be where the majority of rough edges seem to be located that might contribute to punctures). This will be an added precaution measure that can stay on the frame and be folded into the unit when not being used as a bed (the majority of the time). Still have to "test drive" the new mattress, but that likley won't happen for a couple of weeks as we have a bit of a full calendar the next couple of weeks. (Darn it!)

We just took ownership of our new 3665RE and during the walkthru the tech said, "Never leave the air bed in place when folding it up, always store behind the couch to prevent pinches and punctures". Thought this might help.
