Too bad you don't have the accessories FLSTS03! The hose is a pretty cool design in that it's about 8-ft but stretches out to about 30-ft and then back. Not really a stretch I guess, more like a collapse. Anyway, it gives me enough link to do all the basement through the laundry hatch.

We have had very good service with ours, and as a few said the hose can be a challange, and the company knows that the majority like having a beater head attachment for the extention tube but have to buy some other brand, the dometic corp should listen or have it as a option with there vacume that works simular to the ones that homes use, powered.

We ordered our 06 2955 with central vac and liked it. We did have the air powered head. We decided not to pay the $300 or so $$$ for the central vacumm when we ordered our 08 3075. We (DW) use a $50 Eureka that has the accessory hose and she likes it better than the anaconda hose central vac.

Robin loves HERS hose is not a problem and the bags are easy to change. Of course you have to put one in One day ask Robin about spilled Hot coco mis and a vac with no bag. (basement smelled great)

We have it. As Rich says, it's not in my job description, but reports are in - Kathy likes it.

We also have it in our 3400rl. It is very convenient and appears to have the power. I do find it cumbersome to stretch the hose fully to get it into the bedroom. Has anyone come up with some way to get the hose around the kitchen cabinet more freely so as not to be so restrictive when trying to extend the line.

We have it - niether of us like to use it, the suction is weak and the hose is a pain. I took it out and put in a cupboard there instead. A better use of the space.
If anyone is interested, I have one for sale , hardly used

I`m very impressed with the built in vac. It has very good suction.

I am a vacuumaholic - and I absolutely love the central vac. My DH - knowing and understanding my addiction knew it was one of the must haves on our list -- and we're sure glad we got it! I like how easy the hose and other accessories store away.

That was one option we did add to the '09 2955 and the DW loves it. Has plenty of suction and easy to store the hose under the couch and as Brad said the hose is long enough to vacumn out the basement.

Our previous 2003 did not have the central vac, our 2007 does and we agree that we would not be without it again. Definately need to add a powerhead and it is a two person job to stretch the hose out to reach all areas of the bedroom in our 3400. We store our hose on a hose hanger in the front closet.

The central vacuum came with our new (in 2007) Montana. I like it for quick pickups, but I definitely need to order a "beater bar head" to handle pet hair, campground grit, etc. The long hose can be a pain to handle at times, but I'll deal with that over having to store a full-size vacuum any time because space is an issue for us.

The built in is useful for sucking dirt out of corners, cleaning window sills and so on, but we carry an Oreck for carpet. When we really want the carpet clean we take a Dyson along.
