HamRad,
No disrespect taken!! Yes, there were 2 30a plugs. I turned both breakers on/off and tried both individually turning the breakers back on. What worked is a jumper box, twin 30s into the 50. Like I said, we ran everyting yesterday at the dealership on a 30 to 50 and all was fine. We had the rig home today just doing some additional set up and plugged into our 20a at home (config was 50a cable to 50 to 20a adapter with an extension cord). Rig worked fine on 20a although I limited my testing to minimum draw items.

That is also why I use a simple plug in voltage meter, bought at radioshack. It will at least tell you what you have for campground voltage so you can go from there. I leave it plugged in at one of the recepticles all the time and it is the first thing I peek at after plugging in.

Don said to get an adapter plug. Your 30 amp plug goes into the 30 amp pedestal. Plug your 50 amp cord into the 30 amp adapter cord.

Those pig tails.....could be dangerous. If breakers are off your OK, but if the breakers on, you could get a big shock by touching the prongs on second plug.

We always check the pedestal, with a volt meter, before we plug in.
