Shower vent?
Have a 2980RL. Is there suppose to be a vent opening above the shower in the bedroom? We have a skylight but no vent and I would think that is where you would want the vent to get that moisture out! The skylight above the shower is larger than the normal 14 X 14 vent like the Fantastic vent in the livingroom. Do they make a larger power or even crank-open vent?

Our 2980RL has the 14" X 28" skylight above the shower - it doesn't open.
We have a fantastic fan in the 14 X 14 vent at the top of the Bedroom stairs (in front of the bathroom door).
That gets all the moisture out in a hurry.

Rondo, no they don't make a larger vent to match that opening, I agree there should be something there, but we all use the hall vent as John stated. It works well.

On our 2955RL we had a standard vent right next to the shower. We had the changed to a Fantastic Fan and works great for the shower. Also replaced the fan in the bathroom with the same type of Fantastic Fan. So far we have had no moisture problems.

We've always just used the water closet vent. Open the door, open the vent, and turn on the fan. We've never had a problem with this method.
