Help with PDI??

I am in a unique situation and am wondering if anyone is able to help out. I am buying a 3400 from Lakeshore RV in Muskegon, MI but I am physically in Alaska and unable to MI. My brother will go to Lakeshore to do the PDI for me in about 2 weeks but he has very limited experience with RVs. So, I was wondering if anyone near Muskegon would be available to assist in the PDI? I am willing to pay someone for their time and efforts. Thanks! Doug

That could be a plus re. brother. Get him a PDI checklist and ask lots of "dumb questions." Someone may come along w/an offer, but that's my read. What the heck did I know (newbie) when I did same on my new Montana?!!! If your brother also doesn't understand or has questions, could be ared flag for you and the dealer. You doing pipeline or other in AK? Spent last (05)summer there in our Montana.

My questions are completely selfish, greedy and all about being lazy...

Does the unit come with the winterization kit installed on the water pump where you just hook it up to the antifreeze and pump?

Is the unit wired for surround sound or are all of the speakers wired together?

Make sure to get under the unit to make sure the underbelly is completely sealed and has no gaps in the black cover underneath.

Open and close every door and drawer in the unit to make sure they work propperly and don't catch on anything.

Is the unit wired for two batteries or just one?

These are just off the top of my head. I would have to think to come up with more.

Have you checked the MOCTAP? This might be an example of where it might come into play. Just a thought.

There are a couple of really good PDI checklist here on the forum in the section Glenn put together.Following the PDI checklist and common sense should work for you.
