Roof issues

What should I do with a staple protruding up out roof underlayment.
It has not made a hole in rubber yet...Right out towards edge of coping.
? Nock it down caulk over or what. Iam worried it will come through
someday, as exspansion works pressure on it.

I would appreciate any good advice, Thanks Ron

Do nothing. Keep an eye on the staples. This is a common problem. Any way you fix the problem you will wind up with a hole in the roof. If you do nothing you may wind up with a hole in your roof and you may not, if you do fix it then.

I also agree. Let it go and fix it when it puts a hole through the rubber roof. Mine had about 24 staples that had lifted up the rubber roof; about 12 on each side after one of our trips. I did nothing about them at the time. Low and behold on the trip home of about 450 miles the staples worked there way right back down and were no longer putting pressure on the roof. Go figure. I thought about hammering them back down but didn't. Sure glad I didn't. It probably would have weakened the membrane and then the next time they would have poked right through. Since that trip they haven't popped back up. All we can do is Pray and maybe keep our fingers crossed.

Had the forward edge of the J strip along the street side front come up once the staples started coming out. Paid a dealer to remove the edge molding, lift the roof and replace the staples with screws. Cost me $70.00.

Carry a roll of Eternabond tape with you for roof repairs. Do not use caulking for tears.

Common problem had them on our 06 3400 and the 13 3402. Did nothing and have not had a problem. We do have our roof inspected every year for potential problems particularity caulking issues.
