Adding shelves in cabinets?

Our new Montana HC has several kitchen cabinets that have no shelves inside. The space is open from the bottom to top and when putting things in the cabinet, there is a LOT of wasted space at the top. Anyone add shelves to the cabinets and if so can you post some pics of how you did it?

I haven't done it yet, but my brother installed them in his. He took a 1x1 and cut to length he wanted shelf height to be, then screwed plywood onto that on top of the legs.It stays puts its cut to fit snugly, in width and length. He sent me pics when he done it, but I have already deleted them.

I didn’t do exactly that. I took a coat closet and made a pantry out of it. I took a 1X12 and cut slots in it horizontally where I wonted my shelves. I cut then .8 wide and .4 deep. Cut the top slot about 1 inch from the top of the 1X12 and the bottom as high as you wont the shelf to be. Then cut the shelf to length. Put one side in put the second side in holding it up. Place the shelf in the lower slot holding the shelf at the other slot, lower the side into place. The shelf will go into the slot and can’t come out. No nails screws or glue required and can be easily removed.
This size lumber worked for me. You modify lumber sizes to fit for your application. It’s strong, simple and inexpensive.

Are's had shelves in the cabinets but the layout was bad so I redid them so that the shelving is fully adjustable to how the wife wants them and made all the pantry shelving with full pull slides.

I bought the little 90 degree brackets that are commonly used in assemble it yourself cabinets, drilled necessary holes in cabinet walls being careful not to go all the way thru and can adjust the shelves to what is needed. Bought the finished shelves at a big box store and cut them to fit.

Going to add pullout drawers in ours. As you get older it seems bending in the middle gets harder. Will post pix I promise

When I ordered my 3790RD, I asked the dealer if they could add a sheet of plywood that match the cabinets. They sent a 4x8 sheet of the 1/8" that matches the rest of the trailer. This last weekend, I glued it to some 3/4" plywood I had laying around and built a shelf in the washer/dryer closet and one next to the oven. I used a piece of walnut and routed the it to clean up and hide the edge of the plywood.

I’ve done it but never took pics. I took a 1x1 and drilled several holes then coated the back with wood glue and screwed them in place with wood screws that were just barely long enough to tighten them down while the glue set. Of course one 1x1 on each side per shelf. They have been there holding up those shelves for several years now. I will try and remember to take some pics.
