Tired of Winter Already!!

It's officially not even Winter yet and we are sure tired of it here in Montana!! Today it is finally supposed to get above freezing for the first time in 10 days. Lows last week were in the minus 40's with the wind chill. Looking out the back window at the Monty with over a foot of new snow on it. Come on Spring!!!

Oh I so hear you. Same crappy weather here in North Dakota. Before you know it, Christmas will be here and gone and that's when I start tinkering on the Montana. I have a few mods lined up to do in January, then a FULL inside cleaning with carpet shampooing in February. March brings a complete detail of wash, wax and buff at a friends implement shop and hopefully a "summerization"! At least, that's how it worked out last year.

Actually cold here in Las Vegas NV; down to 32 at night and maybe a high of 50 to 52, the great thing is there is no snow. Will be slowly moving south to the Yuma area to find that warmer climate.

I think all of Western N. America is getting crappy weather. Last week and early this week in Calgary we were having temperatures in the -31C range which is around -30F without the wind chill. We also have a lot of snow for this time of year. We are 60 miles from the Rocky Mtns, but we get most of our snow in the spring. It is finally warming up as we now have +2C to - 6C. In October we put our monty into storage in Las Vegas with the plan to pick it up mid December and spend a few days in Vegas and head to LA. I guess we'll now just hook up in Vegas and head straight to LA, San Diego and points in Arizona.

We hear a lot of hype about Global Warming, but we sure do not see any sign of it at the current time.

never forget that feeling. we had the same feeling in the Northern Ohio winters and our prime priority when we retired was to never see snow again..and we haven't. You can make it happen.

Here in northern NY temps. have ben mostly in the twentys at night and thirtys and fortys day time. We have only gotten a little snow but the higher elevations and Tug Hill have up to two feet. Wife and I actually love the snow and spend most of the winter snowmobiling here and in Quebec. We'll pack up the Monty and head south to Beverly Beach Fla. on March 5th.. That way we miss most of the mud and Black Fly season.

I'm posting this to say that I am definitely not jealous of your cold weather. This is the 28th Day of November and the temperature bug below says it's 66 degrees here. What it doesn't show is the 55% humidity, or so. Tomorrow is supposed to be 80. Ya'll come on down, ya' here!

We are in Billings, Not real cold here right now but on Sunday we got another 14 inches of snow making a total here at 29 inches on the ground right now. I know our little dog isn't liking it very much and me either when I have to go out and shovel her a spot to do her duty every couple of hours. Oh well 1 day closer to spring! I like the snow but enough already!!
