Update on Crushed Montana

We got our settlement check from the insurance company today. It was a very fair amount and we will be able to replace our damaged rig with a new 2980 Th Anniversary edition. We debated quite a bit whether to get another 3075 or 2980. My wife liked the counter space in the 2980 and as long as it has Montana on the front, I am happy. We are excited and hope to have in time for the Tucson Rally.

...well that's one way to upgrade...I hope the pain has eased some now.
What an ordeal to go through, but it looks like things are working out well.

So glad things worked out for you guys! I sure hope you will have your new rig by April! You'll be able to "show off" to all of us who are still just dreaming of upgrading! See you at the Rally!

Glad to hear that it worked out well. We were also interrested in the 2980. When is the Collectors Edition supposed to go into production? I got the impression that it would not be until April or May. If you hear any different make a note

Richard & Nell, The 10TH Anniversary Edition models are in production now. We are anxiously waiting to get ours.

John, Joys says 09 will be good and suggested trying to get other MOC'ers to go. Maybe the improvements will be easier to do the second time around

It's good to here the insurance came thru. Hope you have it in time for Tucson. We are going and plan to leave Chico on April 1, go up thru Reno and then south on 395. Plan to spend the first night in Bridgeport, the second in Ridgecrest, there is a great French restuarant there that we want to go to again. Third night in Quartsite and then on to Tucson.

If you are interested in joining up give me e-mail.

That is fantastic that the insurance company came through for you. I know you did a lot of extras on your rig and where proud of your work. I hope that the next rig you will enjoy as much.
