Dumping Black Tank
Has anyone else had trouble dumping the black tank when the rig is not perfectly level or slightly nose low?

It will dump, but may not completely empty the tank depending exactly where the outlet of the tank is actually located.

I think I would raise the gear to level it. One thing I have noticed sitting in one place for 3 months. The tank never empties all the nasty with just the sprayer and 1 dumping. I have closed the valve and filled the tank as many a 2 times and still get solids out of it.

It does seem to take some time and effort to get all the solids out that will come out.

That's true, Dick, but the effort is pulling the dump lever and turning on the water to the sprayer. I can handle that. What also helps is to have the DW fill the toilet several times and power flush it. You'd be surprised what that will break loose.

X2 on that; we do that anytime the rig is going to sit for more than a couple of weeks.
