Golf cart hauling

We have a 2018 Montana front living fifth wheel. Can we attach any type of hitch to haul our golf cart?

Consult Lippert on what to do so you frame warranty is still in place. Many have done it, but in many cases the frame was out of warranty anyway.

The hitches they put on are rated for 300 pounds and only as a bike rack carrier. The hitch is not rated to haul a trailer.

2X DQDick about contacting Lippert if a trailer hauling hitch could be added.

You do have to consider your length as many states have length requirements. We do not tow our Golf cart back and forth from Florida as the combination of the 3402 and a trailer to haul the golf cart would put us over limits.. You may never have a problem with length but we chose not to take the chance.

If you decide to do it, you can just go to a full service trailer hitch company. They can weld you up a custom hitch to fit your needs.

there are these " tag platforms" they attach to your frame, ( two points) built to allow up and down travel only. and ride on two smaller wheels mounted under they on a caster/swivel. ( so you can turn corners and back up). with speed restrictions.
not called a trailer ( by most states).do to how it is mounted. but you must watch out for your total weight, and length.
