Awning lights Remote

I recently purchased a 2014 Montana. It has a remote for the awning lights that is supposed to allow the lights to change color, flash etc. does anyone know how to work the remote? Where could I find the brand to look for a copy of the instructions?

Sorry, I have no experience with these. Are you able to do a google search for that remote?

Can you send a picture of the remote? I had one on my old Hitchhiker II. Might be the same one.

If I am not mistaken those are aftermarket LED lights strips and the remote may be hard to find depending how old it is. The actual LED strips are not expensive your best option is likely replacing the LED strips with new that comes with a remote. Keep in mind though the color changing LED strips have only 1/2 the white LED's so they do not illuminate the area like a full white strip. The strips are easy to replace.

I installed the color changing on our previous Class A and I would not do color changing again i prefer better illumination of the 100% white strips.

Color led light strip

If you are using your light strips for purely lighting purposes, I agree that white is better However, if you are using them for ambiance then the colored ones have many more options towards that goal. This is the light strip I had on our previous RV. It would softly fade from one color to the next. Rather soothing to watch.
