Fixed sofa issues in 2005 Front Living Montana

I am considering buying a 2005 3685FL . I have attached photo of the configuration up front. Basically two 80" sofas. Apparently these are not free standing sofas and fixed into the slides. Someone in another forum also mentioned the storage underneath may go into the base of the sofa so you couldn't just swap it out. I don't want to buy something and not be able to change the furniture. I was hoping someone here who owns one or knows the details of what is possible and what is not. I really want two chairs opposing one of the sofas or possible a jacknife sofa.

In my Montana......I had to disassemble the whole thing and had to cut a lot of it apart. Apparently....the put it in before the back window went in.

Here are some pics of our "front living sofa" removed.
One pic shows the sofa sitting on it's face, notice the piece that covers the front of the ledge/slide out floor.
Another pic, with a chair and table, shows what the main floor and slideout floor look like.
We store the extra bedding, very seldomly used, for the inflatable beds under the sofa, which can be seen in the last photo.

Our goal is to replace our sofas with something like this. The idea is to remove the back legs of the sofa and simply rest the frame/box of the sofa on the floor of the slide and the front legs would rest on the main floor.

Nice clean mod. Will consider this for our 2018.5 3791RD if the factory couches fail us. They supposedly been improved. We will see about that!
