Sitting here in the storm shelter waiting for the rest of the storm to pass. Some limb damage earlier, but we seem to have gotten lucky again. The real shock is that the phones work in here. They burn the batteries pretty fast, however.

Slept right through the rain last night! DW said it came down heavy! Couldn't have proved it by me! It's that time of year here in the Central Plains and here in Omaha it is sure to come along this next two weeks because the College World Series is in town!
At least you have a shelter now Dick!

True. We've used the shelter three times this year so far and have been lucky. Lost two trees, but the Monty, cars and sheds are all intact. More than can be said for several pole sheds in the neighborhood. Last night and earlier this week we had the bad stuff just miss us by about 5 miles on the north side. As you say, Rondo, the College World Series seems to attract it. I'll just be glad when a chance of rain only means we might get wet.
