How far away has your Montana been from the nest?

I've not been posting much since moving to Japan but had to post this as perhaps the Montana farthest away from Goshen, Indiana. I figure it is about 9500 miles from the factory.

This older model is sitting in an open field in Okinawa, Japan's southernmost prefecture. Don't know how she got here or how it traveled through the very narrow streets on the island but here she sits.

That looks like the '03 2955RL I used to own.

Except that I traded it at Tiara RV in '08. I would hate to have paid the shipping costs to Oki.

Shipping costs may have not been that bad. Lots of stuff gets shipped here from Japan, but not much gets shipped back (other than our dollars!). That means the ships have room, and they will often cut deals to fill up vacant space.

No chance ours will travel that far from home while we're owning it.

What? No one wants to fill in that Hawaii sticker on your state map?
