St George Utah, almost there..
We got into St George around 1400 today. It was a super day and we met more new friends. There was a couple at the Flying J in Beaver Utah. They have a 08 Laredo and had Mission bombs on it. They are from Saskatchewan. They had one that was starting to toss a tread, when they got the wheels off 3 of the 4 were de-laminating. So they had to buy 4 tires, the original were B-range tires and they now have E range (15 inch) When the Mechanic got the wheels off he noticed that the shackles were wobbling and found they were all junked. Here is the amazing part: They had Dexter wet bolt kits IN STOCK at a Flying J tire dealer!!! So long story short they got 4 new tires and WET BOLTS in under 2 hours. Amazing.... We are staying at the Temple View RV resort in St George. What a beautiful campground. We may hang here till the weekend if I get through to the Shooting Center tomorrow. We really want to do some site seeing before we lock into the winter workamping.. Utah is a gorgeous state...

Now that you know that 141 is possible, you can rest awhile and then make the rest in one fast shot! Doesn't surprise me Flying J had the parts. With the number of rigs going by here (I-40) everyday and the number at the Flying J down the street they probably see a continuous stream of China Bombs and suspension issues.

We stay on the out side of Temple View in the overflow lot across from the pool. Usually stay 3 days to unwind and de-winterize and get the camper washed
. Take the drive up top to the airport overlooking the town, nice view. Just decieded to change my shackle bolts and plates out and yes some were wore oblonga, but got them before all were totally gone.
When we leave there we go and take the Logandale/Overton exit and go thru the park and stay at Boulder Beach campground $5.00 a night(dry camp), right next door is Boulder Beach RV park about 48.00 a night.
enjoy

Hope they did not get their tires from Big O. In St George a few years ago, we went to the big O dealership, bought their top of the line E Load truck tires, and within 200 miles we had delamination on two of them.

If you want a closeby place for a wonderful sightseeing visit that doesn't take all day, take SH18 (Bluff St) from your campground about 3 miles NNW, then turn left on Snow Canyon (W) about 4 miles to SH300. Then turn right and visit Snow Canyon State Park. It's close, it's small enough not to take all day and the scenery is GREAT! Don't forget your camera and you might find you'll want to spend some hours there to take a hike.
