A day out in the Desert
For all of you that have not experienced the Sonoran Desert, give it a try, you will be 'hooked'.

Nice, thanks Ozz. I will be heading for Ajo on Saturday and a quick turn around back Sunday. But at least I will get to view the desert for a couple of days.

We were out again today, hiked to the top of a small mountain/hill, the wind was strong, cool and dry. We both loved it. You could see forever.
I am not going back home.......

Too bad to see that much effort abandoned. We've got desert here, but I can't wait till we get the job done and move on to AZ. Enjoy yourselves, we're coming in a few weeks.

I agree Ozz - there's nothing quite like a day in the desert when the winds and temperature are moderate. Lots to see and discover ... a whole different kind of nature at it's best. I can hardly wait to be roaming the hills and washes south-east of Yuma. We'll be there about November 6 for 4.5 months. I dunno if there's anything to detect besides your caches but I'm bringing my metal detector anyway. I look forward to meeting you and Sue (in either Tonopah or Quartzite) as well as the "Circle" of MOC friends in January.

Besides the caching, you should try some prospecting.
