Realizing profits leave the country but you also have to look at what Toyota and Honda have put into our economy -- Tundra only made in the US (Austin TX as I recall); Toyota has other plants in other states as does Honda and others. That is those profits being reinvested into our own economy, making jobs for our US citizens. I drive a Jeep and and my Dodge Ram; before those I had Ford just so you know where my money goes. Now, having said that, I would look at the Toyota truck when it comes time to replace my Dodge. If it meets my needs, and it keeps Americans employed, I can't really say that I'm not buying American. Too much turmoil today - we'll just have to see how it settles out -- hopefully in our favor and for the better!!
