Ten things you love about your Montana

I noticed there are not many topics in the General section lately. So how about a thread that we all tell what we love about our Montanas? You don't have to come up with ten or you can have more than ten.

I'll start.

1. Love our Kitchen
2. Love the color scheme
3. Love all the cut glass accents, the leaded glass doors and lambraquins that are part of our Big Sky package.
4. Love the dual paned windows
5. Love the ability to close off our bathroom
6. Love the washer and dryer up in the bathroom area
7. Love the Fantastic Fans in both the kitchen and bathroom area
8. Love all the storage in our 3295RK
9. Love the standard fabrics in our bedroom (I know we're weird )
10. Love the desk being away from the Television.
11. Love the Big Sky shower door, it's pretty!

What a great idea. So far there's nothing we DON'T love about our 2008 Big Sky 340.

But, most especially, we love:
the bigger fridge
the great mocrowave/convection/combination oven
a real/useable oven/stovetop
the window in the commode room
a large enough hot water heater for each of us to take a shower
the general space
the beauty of decorative glass in the cabinet doors
our Splendide Ariston Stackable washer/dryer
the shower being big enough to turn around in
the amount of storage (this pack rat still has lots of unused space)

I would agree with everything Sue says about the 340 Big Sky since we have the same model and I would add:

1. The lighting......I am amazed at all the lighting. There is not a spot you can sit to read that there is not a light, There are far more lights than my home and the fact that they are battery and 110V.

2. The cherry wood is just beautiful.

3, The color scheme is terrific. I thought I would not like the print on the sofa and I just love it.

4. The upgraded carpet.

5. The removal of the suicide step.

There are a few things I would change a bit but we will leave that for another topic.

Basically we love it, but has been at the dealer's for over a month and they are still awaiting parts to fix. I just want to be able to use it again.

What do I love about our Montana? Well that's a no brainer. Bou some of my favorites are:

1: Fireplace
2: Desk Area big enough to hold the computer and printer
3: Central Vac
4: Color scheme
5: The way it tows
6: The space inside
7: And the most important one is the other Montana Owners we have met in our travels.

1. Desk away from blue flicker of death. Even better, I can leave the computer all set up, no need to dismantle my work area to have dinner or groom the yorks! AHHHHHHHH SIGHHHHHHHHH

2. Slide out trash can holder thingy, after 14 years of spearing my tummy trying to get to the trash can, I think that trash can holder is close to sliced bread! yeehaaaa

3. Laundry area in basement and trap door to access, no more taking the laundry out of the shower to TAKE a shower, another yeeehaaaaa

4. Large tub/shower WITH sky light! No more taking showers in a dungeon, more yeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

5. Huge closets in the front

6. Full length mirror, and fact that there is more than 1 mirror (that measured 2 foot by 1 foot) in the unit.

7. Way she tows! No more white knuckles (now, if I could just figure out how to back er up!)

8. Equal distance in the entry stairs, even tho that means we have the suicide step, steps over 7 inches are deal killers for me. Love my 3 outside and 1 inside step.

9. Queen bed, flat floor and the storage that came with that change in 2003/4

10. SLIDES!! try long timing in a 30 foot tt with NONE! Opposing slides is even better! I don't have to threaten Al with chopping off his legs about the knee cause I have to pole vault over his legs!

Hummm. Helen likes the central vac. Helen likes the Apollo oven. Helen likes that you can walk around the bed (3400) to make it. Helen likes the island set up in the 3400 primarily because it keeps me out of her way.Helen likes where the W/D is installed. Helen likes it because it is "roomy". Helen likes the way it pulls. I like it because Helen likes it.

I like the fact that it is on wheels and I can pull "THE ANCHOR" (love that term RICHFAA) anywhere that I feel like going. I enjoy the thought of being away from work, worries, and the daily grind more than any of the amenities themselves. The Montana does however seem to make the time away a little more luxurious and definitely more relaxing than the previous TT, though!!!!

My favorite is the roominess, Bob's favorite is the ceiling heighth and how well it tows. Love the kitchen and counter space. The convection oven is an added bonus and I continue to find new ways to use it. All my favorite recipes are getting a convection time added to it. The ability to change the floor plan and add our own furniture. Ditto to all the other things that people have mentioned...

Oh like Carol I love the trash cabinet. We have one at home too.

Love the central vac but we added ours. They didn't offer them in 2002 when we ordered ours.

Course love the way it tows.

The MOC and all it's members...yes that's a biggie.

1. storage under the coach
2. easy for one to get hitched up alone
3. real closet space
4. big bed (our TT was a 3/4 bed
5. a bathroom you can turn around in
6. lots of mirrors that you can stand in front of
7. I can tow our quads behind it instead of loading them on the bed of the truck
8. three holding tanks
9. big refrigerator
