Graphics

From another thread I read about someone removing some of the graphics from their new Montana. I also think the graphics are a little much and would just as soon have one without any, maybe just Montana on the nose and rear.

Has anyone ever asked the factory to make one without graphics and were you successful?

Virgil you asked an interest question! I have never seen a Monty without graphics, but suppose Keystone would accomodate to make a sale. I would check with the factory rep and see or just ask a dealer to get some idea. Good luck.

Yes, I believe you can order one from the factory w/ no stickers.

There was a custom model for sale on RVtrader.com out of Colorado Springs w/ no decals.

It was the front living room model. Was all white, no marking whatsoever.

I saw the KOA quality assurance people pull up in a Montana that had no Montana logo on it at all. The whole thing was painted yellow with KOA logos.

I don't object to the Montana graphics, but I do object to my dealer putting a dealer label on the back over the license plate, another to the left of the entry door, and, across the back of the rig at the top in 4" letters, their web site. Since the rig is new, they came off very easily.

Maybe Keystone will offer a "fullbody" paint job someday. I am holding out for that option, sure beats the decal problems many have been having.

I'm not sure if this has been talked about or not but has anyone had any problems with their decals. My are bubbling up all over. My dealer looked at them and talked with Keystone and they will be replacing all 3 sides. The only thing good is the one in the front.

They might want more money for the unit without graphics because you're no longer a rolling advertisement.

I always thought they went a bit over board with all the decals..I think they can cut way down and still have a nice looking Montana

I don't mind "Montana" on all four sides, it's just the swirlies and mountains I don't care for. The decals just make the beautiful lines of a new Montana look like a brand new silver dollar that somebody tried to decorate with colored plastic. When you pay $37-$50,000 for something, it just seems wrong to put colored plastic on it. We're sure gonna ask about it when we upgrade if Montana is in the final cut.

Gee, am I the only one who likes the graphics as they are?

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

No Steve, I like them also. But I like the old ones better than the new ones. I think the Graphics are one thing that make the Montana stand out in a crowd.

We love ours, and did not like (AS MUCH) some of the years that followed ours, so, since we got the one level bedroom floor and the larger basement, and we like our graphics, we are pretty happy. If we had known that the gel coat only added 200 pounds we would have been EVEN HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, we do like the graphics. We like that they change them too, cause we can come close to figuring out what year a unit is, just by the graphics.

The graphics do make a Montana a Montana, ever notice how many other brands have tried to incorporate the mountain scene in their graphics in the last few years?? HMM???? Wonder why?? (snicker)

I didn't mean to put a damper on this thread for those who don't like the graphics. I just wondered if I'm the only one who likes them. Sue, I'm the opposite. I really like the new graphics a lot.

Steve, your are not the only one. Both my wife and I really like the way the graphics look. I also like the looks of one of the members TV which has one of the mountian scenes on the side. We have flowing graphics on the side of our TV that match the color of the ones on the 5er.

I hate the new graphics and I'll tell ya why. I have the old graphics on my TV and iffn I decide to upgrade the Monty I'm gonna have to take off them old graphics and get new graphics for the TV. Either that or upgrade the TV too. HHMMMMM!

No actually I like the new graphics. I also like the old ones but the new ones are nicer.

I also like the graphics. But what I would really like to see, are colors other than white. Like the high end Class A's. Nice light brown or some other color that doesn't show the black streaks the white ones do...

We also like the new graphics. I also agree about some of the others trying to make their graphics look like the "Montana". Sometimes driving down the road, I'm thinking there is another Montana coming our way until they get closer and I can read they are not.

They did happen to pick up every color I looked at for a new truck in thier graphics (old graphics).

I noticed Thor has a new Colorado 5er with mountains too! Maybe the mountains should be the trademark, and the graphics say whatever state you want it to.
