5th wheel height
I just had a 2nd air conditioner installed on my 3295 montana,my question is trailer height. My manual say's the height is 12'9 with the rear air-conditioner.The front air-conditioner is higher. My concern is overpasses.Any feedback would be appreciated.

We have the 3475 Montana and I added a satellite dish antenna dome making ours 13'4". Depending on what a/c you installed, your heights may be close to 13".

Semis are 14 feet high so anywhere they go, you can go.

Garyka,
We measured ours today, uneven ground, but with the Satellite dish being the highest point, we were 13' 6", the second A/C unit was around 1" lower, so Ken, Velda and our unit are pretty close.

Ozz was that measurement taken while hooked up to the truck? Also which A/C do you have a low profile or standard front air?

My height comes in at 13'3" w/ the 2nd a/c upfront. The MaxxAir vent cover over my FF in the kitchen is still my highest point.

Gonefishin,
No, it was just sitting on the front jacks, rather crude conditions, on gravel, semi level, but according to Ken's it must be close to actual.

I recommend you measure it so you know exactly what height you have. If you want to know what locations have what clearance, I recommend the Motor Carriers Atlas. It has a list by state and highway in the front. It's available in many large bookstores as well as truck stops. Also, if you use Streets and Trips or Street Atlas, you can download these locations to display on your map from www.discoveryowners.com . It's in the download area. They also have them for a few others. I think Copilot might be one of them. They also have similar files for Cracker Barrel, Camping World, Flying J, Love's, and many others. A note on this, they don't have the names for the columns so you may have to enter "longitude", "latitude", and "name". I just edited the file and added a first line with "Latitude, Longitude, Name". It makes the loading process quicker and easier.
See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

My measurment was 12'9" with trailer level on ground with the normal size ac. The dealer also measured when i bought it and the same measurement was done.
