On several trips when I was going from one location to another with a stop in between, you don't always know when (Miller Time) or just plain tired sets in. Keeping the Directory handy or using WalMart etc is a good idea if a bed and bath is all you need. I usually pull out before the day's work gets started.

For security, you really need to know where you are and who is around. I haven't felt uncomfortable in Texas, Oklahoma, or Colorado the few times I've stopped for the night in rest areas.

PassporAmerica is a 50% offcamping club that costs about 50 bucks to join,We got our money back the first trip out!! there is another 50% off club sponcered by Campers world 40$ I believe these are great,but they do have lots of exclusions,Major holidays ect. We always get our money's worth out of P A Dave
