Running onan 5500 going down road

How many of you will run your Cummins onan and two ac units going down the road. I am debating running it about the last hour before we get to site on those brutally hot days to cool the coach down. Pros and cons ?

I’ve done it quite a few times, with my old Salem 5ver with genset on back bumper and with the Montana with installed Onan and have never had any issues. IMHO

I was thinking about asking nearly the same question, but I don't have an onboard generator. I have the Super SolarFlex and have been thinking about running the AC while on the road. The question I had was about the shaking of the AC units while driving. Is this not much of an issue with modern units?

One of the reasons we went with an Onan 6500.

I see no problem running your generator while driving.

I always hop out and turn on the propane, start it up from my phone and adjust the thermostats when we pull into the park while the wife is in the office, by time we have it leveled and open the door it's nice, mo wasted propane.
