Furrion Antenna Dome on 2020's

Alot of folks have put up posts that the 2020 Montana's come with the Furion antenna that intergrates 4G LTE, WiFi along with the standard VHF/UHF/AM/FM reception and that with an accompanying router, acts as an in unit WiFi signal booster. Is this true on Montana High Country's too? Is this an option? Is there an easy way to verify this or will I have to get on the roof and pull the cover off the black antenna dome? I have noticed a plastic cap on the ceiling on the bedroom with a WiFi symbol on it, which indicates that something may be pre-wired. I asked a parts guy at my dealer (by phone), who told me that my 2020 MHC 294RL did not come with this antenna...but frankly, he was dismissive, and I'm not convinced he even knew what he was talking about...Any thoughts/advice on this? Thanks!

tkkmcjo,

Our 2020 MHC came with the dome antenna also. It is not a Furrion antenna … it's a Winegard Air 360+. Mine also has the white disk you refer to. Pull the disk down and you will find 3 wires that would connect to a WiFi device.

You can read about it here: https://winegard.com/products/hdtv-d...360-plus-black

I didn't see a Furrion dome antenna on their website. Only this:

if you have the furrion 4g lte with the wifi booster antenna , you will have a 4-5in rectangular white box with a usb connection on the side, near the antenna or on the wall close by. My rv has this. The router is $239 at amazon and at furrion website. From what i gather the wifi booster part is a free service, but the 4g lte is a paid service through furrion, using verizons towers. The 4g service is locked to verizon and is very expensive. Someone said there is a sim card inside the antenna. Not sure if you can change that. The cover of the white box slides off and you slide the router in. There should be two ethernet connections on the back of the box in the wall. The connections that connect the router are not normal.

What kind of reception do you get with the Air 360+? The first time out the reception was terrible but I'm hoping it was just due to the location.

It was terrible. We were at a campground that I know I could usually pick up a half dozen stations. That was with our previous FW and a Winegard Razar directional antenna. We picked up zero stations with the 360+.

So, I have replaced the 360+ with a King-Jack directional antenna. Haven't had a chance to test the new antenna yet.
