Replace the lead acid battery?

Hey Guys,
I'm thinking of replacing my factory Interstate lead acid battery (only one) with a Battle Born LiFePO4 100ah deep cycle battery. Our RV is solar prepped (whatever that means) but we have no plans to go solar at this time. I like the weight difference, no maintenance, greater storage capacity and the fact they hold most of their charge over an extended period of storage.
But I’m looking forward to your thoughts. I understand that they are a direct replacement and will work with factory charging equipment already on board. Or is there something else I need to get in order to use the lithium battery? We are not full time but hope to be “more time” since I retired and my wife is an educator.

I am working on this myself at this time.
3130re with solar prep.
The Progressive Dynamics PD4575K18LS8 converter that came with mine will charge a lithium battery (but not to full 13.6vdc capacity). That's ok.

Yesterday I received my Victron BMV-712 battery monitor system. I'll install it today and begin monitoring it from the house. I'll disconnect shore power, run out the slides and fire up the furnace to see how long the
90AH lead acid battery will last (50% usable) This will give me my baseline.
Next I'll order my lithium batteries and swap them out. I'll continue with the testing. I may get the PD lithium converter upgrade. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. After that I'll know how much solar panels I will need.

Daryl,
Thanks for the video. That explained a lot. Looks like there isn’t much to do to go solar. Keep us posted as to what you do, because you will get there before we do. Thanks again. I just love this forum. You need it, somebody has the answer.
